Amazon to put off Prime Day sales in Canada and India - Shopping News

Online retail giant, Amazon says it will postpone 2021 Prime Day sales discount event in India and Canada due to the rising cases of coronavirus in both countries.

The company made this known to CNBC News that it will delay the two-day annual shopping event as the countries face worsening spread of COVID-19 virus.

However, the Prime Day shopping will continue as planned in other countries including the U.S., U.K., Germany, France, Spain and China, Amazon said.
