Twitter users can now edit posts, have access to premium features via paid subscription - News

American microblogging giant, Twitter has launched its first paid monthly subscription service that offer users the ability to edit tweets, manage their bookmarks and change the colour of their app icon.

The service, Twitter Blue, launched on Thursday in Canada and Australia for CA$3.49 and AU$4.49 a month respectively, offering a smattering of new features for those willing to pay for the premium tier.

Subscribers can edit tweets if they spot a typo or an error within a few seconds of posting, and they are given access to extra tools to manage the social network’s bookmark feature, letting them move saved tweets into folders.

Users can also view long threads in a “reader mode”, and gain access to exclusive colour schemes for the app and its icon.
