    Webmasters are recommended to place all content values in one meta tag. This keeps the meta tags easy to read and reduces the chance for conflicts.

    But If a website page contains multiple meta tags of the same type, the most restrictive tag will be used.
    Example, if a page has these meta tags:
    < meta name="robots" content="noindex" />
    < meta name="robots" content="index" />
    Google search robot will obey the noindex value..
